1968 MGC Roadster
With Hardtop
First seen in 1967, fewer than 2000 right hand drive MG C roadsters were made making genuine home market cars now very rare.
This cracking MG C is simply lovely, am confident this is one of the Very best examples currently available.
Mechanically. The car is superb. Drivers beautifully. Recently serviced and maintained to a very high standard. Suspension is nicely set up with Spax adjustable dampers, steering is light and again well set up.
15” wire wheels with matching Michelin tyres all around. Starts instantly, excellent oil pressure and sounds gorgeous these MGC’s are special and very underrated.
35,607 miles, we have every M.O.T certified from 1976 showing the mileage. I believe it has only had 2 previous keepers
Bodywork. Is in superb condition, according to the invoices and history the car had a body refurbishment around 1982. To a superb standard and forty years later is still one of the nicest MG C’s
This car has always been a cherished well regarded car. A letter from the MG owners club dated February 1983 comments on what a nice example it is, then in 2014 Brown & Gammons assessed the car again noting how nice it is and valuing it at £26,000
Interior. Gorgeous, the leather seats are soft and comfortable with just the right amount of aging. Period Moto-Lita steering wheel and original Radiomobile radio being the only additions.
Soft top roof is in as new condition plus it has a very rare Genuine MG factory hardtop.
The history file makes very interesting reading and has paperwork dating back to the mid 1970’s
Also complete with genuine MG factory workshop manual & parts books
A very special beautiful car
Any inspection is well and encouraged
