This nice old car has only become available due to bereavement, the owner enjoyed the car for almost fifty years. A genuine UK home market example with just four keepers from new. Original transferable registration number.
Believed to be one of the first few hundred TD’s manufactured.
The car was fully rebuilt including a new wooden frame a number of years ago.
Due to the owners health issues the car was in storage for some time, recently it has been recommissioned and fully serviced by a well regarded MG T series specialist. New fuel pump, fuel pipes, plugs, leads, belts, brakes etc etc. I believe the invoice was close to £2800
Bodywork is generally in very good condition, being an older restoration it has some imperfections.
On close inspection you can find faults but overall it presents well and is a nice 75 year old car. Underside appears solid and good as is the wooden frame etc.
Mechanically it runs and drives well, recently serviced. Engine and more importantly the gearbox are both nice and quiet.
Interior is in good condition some age wear as expected but overall it’s in good shape, leather seats have a very nice worn feel.
Comes complete with weather gear,side screens, hood.
This is a good useable car, remember it’s 75 years old. It will need tinkering with.
Complete with a nice history file including the original green logbook, fuel ration book, plus sales brochure and photos of the restoration.
